| The Multiple Cat "Biology"
(Zero-Hour 2170) |
The
Multiple Cat are probably little remembered outside of
the Quad Cities area (Rock Island, Moline and East Moline,
Illinois, and Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa), probably
because Pat Stolley had little interest in self-promotion
or touring.
This track taken from a 4-song
EP remixed by Mark Robinson, with vocals by Evelyn Hurley.
Pat Stolly's new band is
called: Marlboro
Chorus.
UPDATE:
The
Marlboro Chorus is going strong, just put out an LP
in the fall, working on a new LP in our newly revamped
studio, and working on getting out a collaboration I
did with a friend of mine called "Struggle in the
Hive" (know of any labels looking for downbeat
folksy-type stuff?).
A small Brooklyn label called "Snowglobe"
is going to put out a MCAT retrospective in 2005, and
feature a MCAT track on a comp about "obscure 90s
indie rock". [The compilation also features
Teenbeat alumnus Uncle Wiggly]
Yeah, still not touring or doing full-scale whoring..er...promo
type stuff. Taking the long road...
Thanks to Pat Stolley.
