That is the disclaimer preceeding three live tracks recorded on November 23rd, 2001 by yours truly for broadcast on CKLN in Toronto. (download them here.)

Way back in December 2001, Superchunk helped set the seeds of the MP3 of The Week by giving permission to post this very track on the yahoogroups website for a limited time (2 weeks). It wasn't until March of 2003 when I sought permission from Mark Robinson (of the label) to begin posting individual tracks from the "Teenbeat Library" focusing on the rare, obscure, live and cover versions that get posted here each week. True, I don't seek out the individual permissions of each band (and there will be a few TB releases which will not be posted here), but hopefully these small postings have encouraged people to come back every week to read and download the track and then run off every once in awhile to buy a CD or two.

The song is a cover of the Rondelles song from The Fox (TB 278). The song was recorded Friday November 23rd, 2001 at The Opera House in Toronto and Annie Hayden is doing a thing or two somewhere in there.

I'm reposting the song to make it available to not only the 125 or so who were then members of the mailing list, but also those who check out the website every week.
