Evan Shurak was a longtime member of Eggs and was also responsible for many of the recordings done of both the Teenbeat label, and for many an area band.

After Eggs demise (due to Andrew Beaujon's move to NYC) Evan released this short solo 7" before moving onto Laconic Chamber (listen to a track here) which is also no longer about.

Evan hangs about on the mailing list so with any luck, he (or someone else) will pipe in and provide a bit more info... Perhaps some song titles?

UPDATE FROM EVAN:

I recorded these songs in a one-bedroom apartment on Massachusetts
Ave in DC near American University on a four track. The songs were
mixed at the newly renovated studio at American University. I have
an unfortunate aversion to self-promotion making this single very
rare. All songs are untitled.

I love the Laconic Chamber stuff. I don't think the song on the
Camera Obscura website is, well, it is not the song I would have
chosen. There is also a Laconic Chamber song on a 7-inch
compilation that I put out, which I highly recommend. This single
also suffered from the aforementioned aversion to self-promotion.
Both Rob and John from eggs are also connected to this single.
