After the dissolve
of the underapreciated Small
Factory guitarist/vocalist Alex Kemp and drummer/vocalist
Phobe Summersquash reunited as The Godrays.
The Godrays album would feature a cover
of the Versus' song "Crazy", originally released
on A Day in the Park compilation (New Sounds)
and included on Dead Leaves (TB 162).
Kemp and Summersquash's previous outfit
Small Factory dwelled a bit on Versus recording a song
about them ("Versus Tape") and having Versus
frontman, Richard Baluyut play guitar ("Expiration
Date") on their last album For if You Can Not
Fly.
